Weston Village Townswomen’s Guild (WVTG) meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the Moravian Church Hall (BA1 4DJ) at 7.30pm, and is always keen to welcome new members of all ages.
The Guild offers a variety of activities and outings and new members would be invited to join in pursuits such as drama, choir, gardening, needlework, craft, bridge, scrabble, local history, topical discussion and walking.
Subscription is currently £28 and is payable annually in March (or on joining). Anyone interested in membership is invited to attend a Guild meeting, initially as a guest. This then gives the individual the opportunity to gain an insight into group activities and therefore helps in making a decision on enrolment.
Townswomen are encouraged to share ideas and views, develop new skills, challenge issues of importance, support each other and HAVE FUN!
More information may be obtained from Jenny Newman, Secretary, on 01225 334754 and Chairman Anne Hill on 01225 482522.

A Weston Miscellany by Weston Village Townswomen’s Guild
In 1999, the Weston Village Townswomen’s Guild assembled a fascinating collection of reminiscences, anecdotes, historical documents and important events, mainly from the twentieth century, that have made Weston Village what it is today. This is available once more. More info
