News

The Guild is currently raising money for the Children's Hospice South West and the Bath Dysphasia Society and various fund-raising events have been arranged. The next event is a supper evening on Wednesday 22nd February. Tickets include 2 course supper/wine plus entry to raffle and are on sale to members at £5.

A Weston Miscellany continues to sell well -- many thanks to both sellers and buyers. It shouldn't be too long before we are "in profit" and able to donate monies to the Breast Scanner Appeal

About the Guild

Weston Village Townswomen’s Guild meets on the third Wednesday of each month at the Moravian Church Hall at 7.30pm, and is always keen to welcome new members.

The Guild offers a variety of activities and outings and new members would be invited to join in pursuits such as drama, choir, gardening, bridge, scrabble, local history, skittles, topical discussion and walking.

Weston Village T.G. is always seeking to welcome new members of all ages to its monthly meetings. Subscription is currently £11.50 and is payable annually in March (or on joining). Anyone interested in membership is invited to attend a Guild meeting, initially as a guest. This then gives the individual the opportunity to gain an insight into group activities and therefore helps in making a decision on enrolment.

More information may be obtained from the Secretary -- Brenda Smith on 01225 423341.
